Georgia or Gabby as I like to call her turned 2 weeks old today. Being as there are two sets of Grandparents that live several hundred or more miles away I figured I better get on the ball and posts some updates so they know what is going on in her life now that she is home.
When we arrived home Aunt Jenny had set up a beautiful welcome home banner and all the G's we could need to start her wall mural.
Our first visitor was her soon to be Uncle Jeremiah who had just gotten back from a month of work in Minot, ND. He better get used to this since he is marrying my sister in a few weeks he will probably be spending alot of time with his niece.
The is one little girl who has been begging to hold "Baby Georgia" basically for the last nine months. I have had to explain to Miss Meg that she was going to have to wait until she was born. So as soon as we got home Ilena brought her over for some cuddle time.
This picture does not do her smile justice, she was grinning ear to ear
Honestly Cooper has not wanted a whole lot to do with his little sister. In fact her had only touch her MAYBE 3 times until he saw Meg holding her.....he told her "Meg give her to me"..so we handed Gabby over.
And .5 seconds later Cooper handed her back to Meg.
We missed Uncle Zach's birthday on June 5th so we celebrated with some cupcakes.
Rob had Sunday off so he spent some time cuddling with both his kiddos. And being as it was Fathers Day we tried to let him enjoy his day. The Caram's came to meet Gabby and we had to say bye to Uncle Zach and Belinda.
But Aunt Karen came to meet her Great Niece and we had a great visit.
Gabby got her 1st bath
Cooper got extra special time with Gran
She even tried to teach him to pedal
And laid on the VERY VERY HOT concrete so Coop could trace her
We found this huge pinwheel and it kept him entertained forever
Gran had to leave Wednesday and we already miss her very much.
But Gigi came and rescued us on Thursday and Friday and helped me out. She even got Cooper to help feed his baby sister
Rob is adjusting to being 3rd on my priority list
And I think all the anxiety he had about having a girl is gone and she has him wrapped around her finger already
We have been extrememly busy the last week and I promise more updates to come!!
