Young Love!

Saturday morning we woke up early and began the process of getting our beautiful bride ready...being as I was actually trying to corral Coop I didn't get any pictures of Nana getting ready...but she was stunning from the moment she walk out of the room. It was a wonderful day. Both my Nana and Fritz have given both each other and our families such a wonderful reason to celebrate love....Both were married to incredible spouses for over 50 years and despite the sorrow of losing them both they have been able to once again discover that there is love....and someone to continue to share the rest of their lives with.

When we arrived at the church these beautiful flowers greeted us!

Thanks to Amy for keeping Cooper entertained for a little while.

And finally the celebration began!

What a great example for Cooper to see at such a young age...that love has no age?

After the ceremony we had lunch at Ciro's in Houston. I wasn't able to get that many pictures (Cooper was not on his best behavior) but I did get this one of all of Nana's grandaughters. The two with short legs are me and my sister!

And of course the happy couple with their one and only great-grandson!

What a wonderful way to celebrate God's love! Two people who have lived their whole lives in different cities. Both with long wonderful marriages and extremely successful and wonderful children. To find each other and fall in love in their 80's....and believe me when I say it is still "Young Love"!
