On Friday Jenny, Cooper and I all drove down to Houston to celebrate the wedding of our Nana, Sue Houser and her fiance Fritz Lanham. Of course we stopped in Dallas on our way through and picked up Aunt Pat....the life of the party as I like to think of her. It was a LONG drive but Cooper did well and we had a BIG surprise for him when we got to our Uncle Mark & Aunt Lou's house......
GRAN & HOUSER GIRLS!!!
Mark & Lou have 4 daughters and they seemed to just LOVE him.
I mean check it out....he is surrounded by them.
He even convinced his Gran to crawl under Uncle Mark's chair.
and she did it like 8 times...in a dress!
Sarah was sweet enough to take Cooper across the street to the Park to slide.
Gran couldn't miss out on the action and Cooper once again did some smooth talking and made Gran ride in his lap down the slide.
Dixie Lynn the oldest is names after my mom Dixie Lee. They look exactly the same from the back
Coop likes being in a "Dixie Sandwich"
Once we were inside it was time for the party to start. I mean doesn't this cake screa, EAT ME!
Gran arrived on Thursday in Houston so her, Uncle Mark and the girls wrapped this huge box to be Nana's "present". So 1st thing the biys had to leave....they were going to go back to the park. Meanwhile we distracted Nana and Coop and Uncle Mark snuck back inside and into the box.
Surprisingly Cooper stayed quiet.
Nana did not know what to think when this precious package jumped out of her box!
Look at that smile!
Then Aunt Lou let us eat cake. Nana & Aunt Pat (sister-in-laws) had a bunch of catching up to do.
We let them gossip for a little while but then it was time for games! We decided the two of them should have a Bridal Battle and we used toilet paper to create Couture Wedding gowns for each of them.
I was on Team Aunt Pat...and I have to say it was quite striking!
But the blushing bride Nana was awfully breathtaking.
Uncle Mark was the judge....he ruled it a tie!
After the dresses Cooper once again felt like he needed some attention. Sarah had a great idea!
And with his baby brown eyes he convinced her to go on a ride too!
Look at that smirk.....he always gets his way!
After a little snuggle time with the Dixie's
And a book by the Nana's
(Aunt Pat's grandkids call her Nana too!)
It was time to call it a night....because Saturday morning was wedding time!!!
