Auntie Belinda comes for a visit

Gran's best friend Belinda came to Norman from Abilene to hang out and visit. The two of them have known eachother since they were 14!!! Belinda is my "Aunt from another Grandmother". She has shared EVERY major milestone in my life. From my birthdays, to my wedding, all of my wedding and baby showers, Cooper's Christening and even Coopers 1st birthday. So Cooper and I were lucky enough that she not only wanted to spend the weekend with Gran but us as well.

Of course we had to do a little cleaning before she got here on Friday....

 

We spent the weekend visiting and watching the Olympics. We (me, Gran, Coop and AJ) took her out to dinner for her birthday (it was on Feb. 2nd). We went to Victoria's and it was yummy. Cooper has learned to dip things now and it is a "must do" whenever he sees a little bowl.

Saturday Cooper woke up with a fever and needed to take it easy. So Gran and Belinda took a little shopping trip and had some time just to visit with eachother. By the evening Cooper was feeling better so we made a quick trip to Sooner Mall to look for some goodies. I surprised Belinda by dressing Cooper in the red vest she gave him before he was even born. Guess what she had her matching one!!! So it was a great opportunity to snap some pictures.

After our quick trip to the mall we hoped over to Charlestons for some good food and even better Bread Pudding. Cooper discovered Ranch Dressing....needless to say his Red Vest didn't stay red for long
