Our good friend Colton turned 5 in March and to celebrate we drove down to Dallas so Cooper could celebrate with him. We left after school Wednesday and I was able to meet my girlfriends Noel and Danielle for dinner. It was so great to visit with them. We sat and talked for almost 3 hours. I miss working with them and seeing them everyday. God knew what he was doing when he put us all in the Construction Service Dept. at K Hov.
Gabby & Cooper were in good hands.
We woke up bright and early the next morning and headed down to the zoo! The boys were so excited to see each other they could hardly contain themselves. This was pretty much the view we had all day.
Gabby wasn't feeling too hot and was pretty quiet but she tried to keep up with Piper and Addi.
The monorail ride was well worth the $. Thank you Grami (Robbie) for taking us all. Our feet needed a rest.
The only picture of these 3 together.
Quick little snack while we wait.
Poor Tristan...the only grown man in the group and he gets stuck pulling whoever and whatever jumped into the wagon.
Jennifer & Kelly sent each of the boys one of these Bahrain Rugby Team shirts when they were just infants. They just now fit them. I was so glad we decided to put them all in them. They were much easier to spot running away from us.
As we were leaving Jill noted she didn't think we really saw many animals. I guess that's what you get when you go during spring break and try and keep tabs on 6 kids. The boys didn't seem to notice. They loved it. We even had an impromptu birthday party in the parking lot for Colton to get to open his gifts.
Are they not the cutest group of boys ever?
I love that Colton's birthday usually falls around spring break and we get to see him for some fun. Its hard to believe but I am sure in just a couple years we will be taking them to Six Flags.
When we got back from the zoo Uncle Zach came over and we had dinner at Two Guys (yummy!!!!)
And Grandmother saved a special treat for the kiddos.
Decorating cookies!!! And they were delicious!
Look at how good this sweet girl is! As usual we had a great time in Dallas. The kids slept VERY soundly on our way home!
