We are the proud parents of a 4 year old!

Cooper's birthday is September 19th. We planned Disney around the time of his birthday because he and Brody share the same birthday so we got to have a HUGE 6 day birthday party  in Disney. But of course we weren't going to just let the actual day pass without celebrating. Grandmother and Grandad surprised us with a overnight visit a couple of days before his birthday so we took them to dinner at Charlestons and let Cooper blow out his first candle of the year.
The next morning Grandmother took Cooper shopping for a birthday gift. They came home with some fun cars from Kidoodles and some great books from B&N. Once Grandad finished his meetings at OU they had to hit the road so we promised them we would be in Dallas a couple of days early for OU/texas to spend some more time together.
The "Birthday Fairy" left Cooper a little surprise on his door for when he woke up.
And at the birthday boys request we had donuts for breakfast!
 "I am not 3 anymore, Mommy, I am 4!"
Cooper has school on Wednesdays and so he got very special treatment for his birthday at Gingerbread. They made him a big crown.
and let him pass out the special Bug cookies we brought.
I think he liked all the attention.
 Make a wish Birthday boy!
It was also his day to bring Show 'n' tell. The teacher keeps the items hidden and asks the student questions and the other students guess what it is. Cooper wanted to bring his Telescope and his Picture from Disney when he became Jake!
 Showing off his Pirate picture.
Last minute we decided we would have a Family Party at Hideaway in Edmond. We got their a little early and the kids enjoyed getting to sit and color for a little
We had a great time visiting everyone and are so grateful to everyone that came. Thank you Uncle Paul & Aunt Margaret, Shannon and Sophie, Uncle Justin, Aunt Shelly, Landon & Lucas, Uncle J & AJ and of course Cappy & Gigi. We all love some Hideaway. Cooper was very excited to get his actual birthday cake.
 Make a wish!
anxiously awaiting his piece of cake.
Next up it was present time. He was so excited every time he got to unwrap a gift. His was just giddy and smiling for everyone. Rob came up with the idea for us to get him his first baseball glove and bat and Gabby gave him a Playmobil Pirate Ship. Gigi and Cappy bought him his very own pair of binoculars or naculars as he calls them. My sister had asked if I would save their gift for last so I agreed. Just as I got done reading him the card from AJ, Uncle J, Gran & Pops Jeremiah rolled in on this!!!!
Yes Cooper it is a motorbike...and it is yours
Needless to say Rob and I were a bit flabbergasted.
But it was a big hit even with the little Miss.
Of course Gran & Pops had to call and see what he thought of it.
I felt a little better about it when I found out it is battery powered not gas. We did tell him he can't ride it until he learns to ride his pedal bike without training wheels.
It was customer appreciation week at Hideaway that week and so they had a wheel you could spin before you paid your bill with various prizes. After all the presents were unwrapped Cooper got the chance to spin the whel for our entire party and he won us 75% off entire our bill. Happy Birthday to us and thank you Coop!!!!!
Happy Birthday Bud! We love you and can't believe what a smart, fun, kind, loving and handsome boy your are becoming.
When we got home after dinner the Varner's swung by so the boys could exchange gifts. Based on these two grins I think they both had a great day.
