A Dream Come True

Earlier this year Ilena was talking about how Bryson promised they could go to Disney World this fall and being the bratty, bossy friend that I am I invited us along. We figured that Bryson and Rob would be much happier and wiling if they had each other. Ilena and I have been planning the trip for months and let me tell you she is a ultimate vacation planner. I think she should get a part time job helping people plan their vacations. Of course it wouldn't be possible to do everything we wanted if we had a very mobile 1 year old to tote around, so this wonderful lady named Gigi and her handsome prince Cappy offered up their castle for our little princess for the week.
So on the afternoon of September 5th we somehow managed to fit all 7 of us in our car and we headed down to Dallas to catch our VERY early flight the next morning. The kids did great on the drive.
We met Uncle Zach at Babe's Chicken for dinner
and while the guys took a joy ride in Zach's new truck Ilena let the kids burn off some energy.
We were up and out of the hotel 4:30, Cooper could hardly contain his excitement.
We flew threw security (well all of us but Ilena and all her liquids!). And I had to hand it to the Dads they were great sports. They even let us put them in matching shirts.
Of course we had a lot of time to kill before our flight so we ate some McD's for breakfast and annoyed all the people sitting around us at our gate.
Ilena is very afraid of flying and was very nervous. So I took the little kids and Bryson took Brody, which left Rob to care for Ilena
Our flight was fairly empty and once Ilena's nerves were calmed a bit we played musical seats. Of course these two ended up together.Don't they look like "My Two Dads"
When you get to the Orlando airport if your staying on Disney Property then the Magical Express pics you up to take you to your resort.
The kids managed to find three seats together on a bus.
We stayed at the Baylake Tower at the Contemporary Resort and it was incredible. This was the view of the Magical Kingdom from the elevator lobby on our floor.
We had booked a suite. Most guest at the Tower are members of the Disney Vacation Club but they do book rooms for us regular folks and let me tell you it was awesome. Here is our living room.
 Kitchen!
 Cunningham's room
 Varner's Room
And the pool had a huge slide. That my BRAVE boy couldn't get enough of. This was just a preview of things to come for this boy on this trip.
The guys took the kids swimming while Ilena and I unpacked.
And then we all got cleaned up to head to Downtown Disney for dinner.
We let the kids pick out the "ears". I think this might be the cutest Goofy ever.
We walked around for a bit and then headed to eat some dinner.
We met Brsyon's Dad and Stepmom at Wolfgang Puck Express. The food was delicious and we totally indulged. (note to anyone planning a trip: you get TONS of food on the Disney Dining Plan). Meg was able to give her Papa and Nana a hug and then she crashed. One minute she was talking and the next minute she was asleep.
Cooper was still going strong though!
He begged to ride this little train.
And he built this Lego car at the Lego store and when he entered it into a race and he WON!!
And he got to meet his first of MANY Buzz Lightyears!
We headed back to our "home" for the week and called it a night. I went to sleep giddy that night. We were really there, in Disney World with our little boy and some of our very best friends. We hadn't even been to one of the Parks yet and it was already a dream come true!
