One of Rob's closest friend from med school JD Tyler, moved to Kansas City and met the perfect girl. And we were honored to be invited to share in the festivities. We decided to make a little vacation of it and spent Friday evening exploring the Plaza. Their annual Art Festival was going on and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed a nice grown up dinner at Capital Grille.
And then walked around looking at the art for a while. Ironically our favorite pieces were by an artist right here in Oklahoma City.
Since we stuffed ourselves so full we decided we would pick up some cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory and after letting our food settle we enjoyed a little dessert in bed.
We slept in and headed back down to the Plaza for breakfast and a little shopping and then it was time to clean up and head to the ceremony.
So excited for JD!

We had time to have dinner between the ceremony and reception and got to visit with another med school friend Lisa and her husband Jeremy. Then it was time to PAR-TAY
And then Rob let loose.
Rob even taught him what "twerking" is, Goodness!

I can't believe how long we lasted but we made it all night. I was out like a light as soon as my head hit the pillow.
It was the perfect get away to celebrate the perfect occasion. Looking forward to seeing JD and Erin in a couple of weeks for the OU game.
