Last weekend was the Red River Shootout. With Cooper well occupied at Gigi & Cappy's house we drove down to Dallas Thursday to start the festivities. Honestly is was an incredibly "low key" weekend for the Cunninghams. Grandmother had dinner ready for us and Uncle Zach and we called it an early night. Friday we did a little shopping and then headed to meet some friends for dinner at Ozona's of course I hadn't charged my camera so I didn't get any pictures except for this one of the 3 of us!
But it was a great time with the Ted, the Lee's, the Carter's and even the Underwood's. Geoffrey and Allison Underwoods youngest daughter Addison had open heart surgery earlier in the week and it was the 1st time Allison had left the hospital. We were glad she decided to spend her couple of hours of fresh air with all of us. (I should add that Addison is doing WONDERFUL she is a very brave and strong little girl!).
We woke up EARLY Saturday morning to be at the Fair by 8am. We picked up the Carters and Steven was nice enough to have a mimosa for me! We tried a couple of new "deep fried" items.
1st item- Deep Fried Brownies

Once we caught up with the rest of the crowd we tried a couple of others Deep Fried Pumpkin Pie and Deep Fried Kraut
It is very hard to explain the excitement in the air before the game.
Our group was a little smaller than usual this year but we still had a great time!
As you know OU totally whoop it up on texas this year! So we walked out of there happy campers. Rob and I though both really started feeling under the weather midway through the game (ended up being sinus infection we are both still fighting). This little lady was bright eyed and in the middle of a diaper change when we got home!
But she was ready to take Grandmother and Grandad out for some yummy burgers afterwards.
Thank you Grandmother and Grandad for being such wonderful babysitters!
