Big Brother Day

For months Rob has been planning on taking Cooper to see Cars 2 as soon as it came out. It would be Coop's first movie in the theater. We decided this would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate Cooper becoming  BIG BROTHER. We woke up and had a yummy breakfast and then took Gabby to stay at Gigi's house for the day. Downtown Oklahoma City has an area called bricktown that has a great movie theater, restaurants and a canal. We got there a little early and had to hang out in the car for a bit while I took care of some milk business. He was so excited to go to the movie theatre he could hardly stand it.
Bricktown really is a cool place and Cooper loved standing on the bridges and looking at the ducks in the water.
He and Rob ran ahead of me while I got all my pump stuff put away and once he saw me walking towards them he came running. It made me feel VERY special.
I wanted to take a picture of the boys in front of the theater. So Rob squatted down to get down to Coopers level and instead of standing next to him Cooper just copied him.
 Handing over the tickets!
He didn't know what to think of the chairs that try and fold you up but he loved the popcorn and drink.
After the movie we had bar-b-que at Earl's. Cooper insisted we eat outside. And even though it was SUPER hot we followed him. I mean it was Big Brother Day so he was in charge. While we were eating several of the canal tours went by on the water and Cooper was adamant that we go on a boat. IN fact he even gave up ice cream to do it.
We are so proud of our little guy and what a wonderful Big Brother he is becoming. We promise to continue having Big Brother Days every so often so you know how special you are to us!!

After our great afternoon in Bricktown we headed back to Gigi and Cappy's house for dinner and by the looks of it Gabby must have had a great day too.
