The 1st weekend in October was the annual OU/texas football game. All 3 of us packed up and headed to Dallas for all the fun. Rob had to work until 3pm so we got a later start than usual. But he did manage to get us down there in time to meet the Lee's, Underwoods and Callahans for dinner at one of my favorites...Ball's Hamburgers. It was fun to watch Cooper run around and play in the arcade area with Avery & Lauren Margaret.
First stop was Uncle Zach's house.
He volunteered to watch Cooper ALL day for us. Cooper had so much fun with him. In fact I heard he spent most of the day at his Pac Man game!

2nd stop- The Lee's house. We met up with the rest of the "game go'ers" and had the annual Lee front yard pic taken!
3rd Stop- After a very noisy drive down 75 (thank you Rob & Wade- why did I volunteer to drive?) we finally found a parking spot and headed in to the GREAT STATE FAIR of Texas. Of course we had to buy coupons.
Stop 4- finding a table in a great people watching spot. We found a table all to ourselves but it was right in the sun. So Mallen and Katie tempted us and we moved it over to the shade.
STOP 5- Fair Food. Between the dozens of beers bought by my male counterparts we did manage to squeeze a little food out of our coupons.
Texas Tornado Taters
Deep Fried Banana Pudding (yummy)
not pictured: Deep Fried Frito Chili Pie & the staple Fletchers Corny Dog.
Stop 6- Our Annual "Be-Friend" some Texas Fan time. This couple spotted us and must have thought we looked nice because the husband left his wife in our hands while he waited 45 minutes in the Fletchers Corn Dog line. And when he got back he even gave me a corn dog! Small world thought he and Brandon had some mutual "attorney" friends.
And then this precious couple came and asked if they could sit with us.....can you believe it out of the thousands of people at the Fair theat day we run into the Fords! Unfortunately we didn't run into Joe but did get to visit with his parents.
Stop 7- The Cotton Bowl. After battling the crowds Rob and I finally made it ALL THE WAY up to our seats!
Right in the middle of a sea of Crimson!
I love when the teams come out...but my favorite is the National Anthem....they even had a fly over.
Rob after our 1st touchdown (disclaimer: several beers also helped result in this smile)
Rob after a not so good play Very serious game....
But as most of you know....SOONERS WON! Its been a few years since I have seen a smile after this game...but well worth the wait.
Stop 8- The Lee's Annual Post Game party. Uncle Zach brought Coop over to meet us so once he showed up I wasn't able to get any pictures. But I did manage to get someone to take this picture of me and Jessica and her sweet "bump"
It was a great weekend!!! And to top it all off we got to meet the Magers in Denton for lunch on our way back to Norman. Look at Addie's sweet cheeks.
Me & Jill & our boysFall is officially here now!!!!
BOOMER SOONER!
