The month of Halloween!

Halloween lasted the entire month of October at our house. We started out with a carnival at the Varner's church early in the month. It was early but it did force me to get their costumes all done and ready. Do we not have the cutest Goldfish and Jake the Pirate ever!

Gabby thought she was one of the big kids!
And these two had a blast as usual.
I already blogged about our trip to the Myriad gardens with the cousins. But here they are just in case you forgot how cute they all are.
Sunday after the Carter's shower our neighborhood had a get together in our cul-d-sac. It was a big success. Especially Jessica's popcorn and cotton candy machines.
Everyone brought a dessert to share and the kids loved that part. I was so excited to see how many young kids live close by. In fact there are at least 3 families with Four kids right on our street!
I helped out with Cooper's Halloween Party at school. When we got there they were busy making crafts. Cooper was making a crown.
Then they had to help clean up to get ready for their parade. I took this picture as proof that he CAN help clean up if he wants too.
I thought it was hilarious he ended up between 2 Peter Pans. For those of you who don't know Jake and the Neverland Pirates is a cartoon spin off of Peter Pan.
Miss Meg was precious as always.
After the parade they all went outside to play while the moms got the room ready for the party. Apparently Cooper spends a lot of time in the sand box.
And of course he had to show off his rope swing skills
Once inside he waited patiently for everyone to sit down before he started eating
Then they all sang a little "Open Shut, Open Shut"
After Gingerbread it was off to lunch with Gigi and then all of us headed over to McFarlin for Gabby's party. Teacher Amy and Teacher Hannah were in full Halloween spirit.
And our little goldfish had already started munching on our treats!
Once you let this little fish out of her tank she can not be contained.
Gabby and Berkley are t.r.o.u.b.l.e
Cooper even got to go down to the Chipmunk class and visit his old friends Owen & Breckyn
Gigi came back home with us and spent a little time hanging out with the kids.
Our cul-d-sac all sit out together to had out candy and it is a ton of fun. We rally have a great street to trick-or-treat on and so we were lucky enough to have a TON of friends come join us. This just might be one of my FAVORITE picture ever!!!
And Faith, Owen and Lyla all from church and CDO came too!
of course sweet Ellery Cate came for the fun too!
They all ran SOOOOO fast from house to house we could hardly catch up
Of course their favorite is the one that give out full size candy bars. Look at Coop holding it out to show everyone.
After every house Cooper would yell out..."Mom, I got CANDY!" Every single time! And she sat here comfortably chewing on s few pieces herself.
After it got pretty dark and all our friends had to head home we hung out in the circle. Fred and Felix came by. (These have to be the coolest two boys, their outfits were only half of their costumes, they were in FULL character the whole time)
Gabby kept watch before I took her in to put her to bed.
After we closed up shop for the night Heather helped Cooper count each piece of candy. She knows just how to make this boy feel extra special every time she sees him.
It was a perfect Halloween. The entire month of October we celebrated and it was worth the exhaustion.
