An outfitter in the making

This past weekend I had a few things to take care of in Norman and Rob headed to Houston to run a 5k so my parents offered to take Cooper off my hands.  Well I really think they were thrilled to have an excuse to steal him for a few days. They had big plans to head to west Texas to their friends game ranch to do a little deer hunting. So after a night in Dallas snuggling with Grandmother.
and taking Grandad for a couple of walks

They met up with Uncle Zach and Danielleand headed west. Cooper did pretty good on the drive

Cooper made himself right at home
he spent time chowing down
 and napping with "Nutnut"
Of course he did make it out to do a little hunting. Which meant some time in the Jeep
and in the Blind
But it was a successful hunting trip. And we will have some great summer sausage thanks to Uncle Zach

Of course Coopers favorite thing was the stock pond and throwing rocks into it.
and he did get to cook out over the fire

This little guy apparantly ate 2 1/2 hotdogs!
They headed back to Dallas on Saturday to make it the funeral for a good friends mom and Cooper made sure the Big Blue truck was all gassed up for the drive!
I think they all had a great time. And Cooper is an Outfitter in the making. Pops must be so proud.
