Coming Soon...Claire Elder

Saturday we helped host a shower for our good friends Mike & Libby Elder. They are expeccting their 1st child a little girl in April!. We had the shower in Shawnne at Joe & Katie's house (whom just happen to be Mike's cousins) Mike was Rob's very 1st friend in college and so it was extra special for us to get to celebrate this occasion with him and Libby.

Here name is Claire Elizabeth and she is sure to be a very special addition to the Elder family.

There we tons of sweet treats.

And these are the yummiest cookies ever from this sweet little bakery in Shawnee.

Katie even had some blocks out with this special little touch.

The weather was pretty sketchy earlier in the day but by shower time even the kids were enjoying the back yard!

The Pollock's and CHanning came for the fun!

And Mike & Rob got to catch up with Mrs. Ford or Aunt Nancy as Mike calls her.

Mike felt the need to try on Claire's new bib from the Caves'

Meg & Jaynie watch intently as the gift were opened.

And finally they couldn't stand it any more and had to join in the fun.

Jaynie was a great help.

And Cooper spent most of the time eyeballing Channing.

I think Mike was most excited to get Claire's TGS onsie. Already on #11 (hard to believe)

We had a special surprise for them from all the hosts.

Their travel system!!!!

Miss Channing stole some of the show though. Look at that sweet face! I cannot believe I did not snap a picture of Jack Ford! He and Channing are only a couple of days apart!

After the gifts we couldn't find Jaynie & Cooper. They had disappeared upstairs to Jaynie's room to play. Jaynie of course had to put a princess dress on. This picture totally cracked me up because they look like they are at a bad High School dance neither willing to ask the other one to dance.

We forgot to snap this picture of the guys before Rob left for work. But I had to get one of them all anyways

And this one of the Ladies...minus Ilena who had to rush to make it to Brody's first soccer game.

We are so excited for the Mike & Libby and can't wait to meet Claire!!!

Cooper and I hung out at Joe & Katie's for a little bit longer. Jaynie and Cooper were just having too much fun together. Every time we get to go to their house I am reminded at how lucky we are for Cooper to have such wonderful Godparents!!!
