This year Cooper was asked by some friends to play on their basketball team. It would be his first time to play. Honestly I wasn't sure how the season would go and if Coop would enjoy it...and it turned out fantastic. His friend Jack's dad, Robbie, coached and we are so grateful for his patience with Coop. He let the boys pick the team name, they decided on Lightening (Coop called assed Thunder)
He caught on quickly
and Gabby girl was ready to join in.
He always had a huge cheering section.
There was a lot of running from one end of the court to the other.
It was always the highlight for Cooper to get to throw the ball in from out of bounds.
He didn't score a basket ALL season but he sure was an awesome at Defense.
HIs teammates are pretty awesome.
Unfortunately we missed team picture day but I did snap a few pictures with some of the boys.
Even Teacher Mary and her daughhter Grace came to watch the Scotties on the team.
We can't wait for next year! Now its time for Soccer.....
