Easter is an entire different ball game with a 3 year old around. Cooper even had an egg hunt at school.
and then the Easter Party
Georgia stopped into her class for a few minutes but wanted to check out Coop's class too. She kept herself entertained with a bucket.
Cooper brought Little Debbie snacks for his class. I love these things so I figured that would be something different for the kids.
Cooper spent most of Friday playing in Georgia's Playhouse. Meg even came by in the morning and they played "Mom & Dad". Should I be worried? Friday night Aunta Belinda got here and Uncle Jeremiah came over for dinner. He got suckered into playing in the little house.
Cooper got to stay up late riding bikes with Jeremiah in the driveway. But we had to wake up early because the McFarlin Egg Hunt was the next morning. We picked up some sandwiches at Jimmy Johns and got there in plenty of time to get a good spot at the gate. (Cooper had his last soccer game at 1 so he had to wear his soccer gear)
The playground before.
And their off. It took about 4 minutes for 5000 eggs to disappear.
Some kids weren't fast enough. But luckily sweet Luke Moulton was willing to share some of his.
Cooper let Georgia have a couple of his.
Lots of Cooper's classmates were there including one of his closest friends Sam.
and of course Owen and Lyla too!
Aunta Belinda kept Gabby happy the whole time.
Cooper disappeared and after several minutes of frantically looking for him I found him inside here!
He wasn't scared of the slide but he was scared of the Easter Bunny. Not Gabby though she was happy to pose for a picture.
We enjoyed our sandwiches on the lawn with the OU Steel Band playing.
Saturday was exhausting. After the Hunt I coached 2 soccer games for Cooper's team. They were a total loss. The kids were dropping like flies. By the end of the last game I only had one kid still willing to play (and he was not my kid). We rested for a while though and then it was time to hit the kitchen. Belinda's one request for the weekend was that my mom make a Coconut Cream Pie and Cooper was insistent on helping.
Gabby got into the kitchen as well
Look how beautiful the pie turned out!
We finally got the kiddos tucked into bed and called it a night. Ready for Easter!
